Artist Natalia Skobeeva’s Biographies of Objects employs the culture attribute of a blue-and-white china to link with the shared cultural characteristics and inter-dependent historical origin among Ancient Egypt, Persia, and Mesopotamia, to China, Russia, and Europe. The voice-over of artificial intelligence uses Google Search Engine to find works, which are deconstructed via cultural production, implying the cultural identities of individual countries are formed in the multicultural exchanges. In the meantime, it also raises questions about the generation process of history, explore the emerging socio-political space and the manipulation among ranks.

Based on the transnational cultural production discourses on the Internet, Biographies of Objects probes into the possible future development of ethnic groups through technological development. Seeing objects’ root-seeking journey on the Internet, from particle, states, to unknown cosmos vibration, the narrative emerges in the socio-political issues at present via a non-human perspective.
