《馬丁克萊茵是誰》是件調查探詢一位神秘不知名人物馬丁．克萊茵生平的影像創作。藝家約瑟夫在一次網路的漫遊中，在論壇無意發現了馬丁的發文，主要內容含括80年代龐克現場被掃蕩及其與CIA的關係。馬丁的種種發文結束於一封來自一家公司「美國真實影像」的加密信件，而藝術家將他視為是背後力量的警告開啟這場尋覓馬丁的線上旅程。

在《馬丁克萊茵是誰》這件影像中，編年式地將激進左翼的身分、非主流文化、第一部百視達電影、龐克搖滾等特定的象徵都揉雜入一個說明馬丁是誰的故事，也藉由網路上馬丁的數位遺物去拼湊出馬丁的個人生命史及該時代的時代氛圍。

In Search of Martin Klein is a video work to inquire the life of a mysterious individual Martin Klein. The artist Joseph inadvertently found the posts of Martin in an online surfing. The content was about the purge of the punk scene in the 80s and its association with the CIA. Martin’s posts ended with an encrypted mail from a company called True Picture America. The artist took it as a warning of the power behind and embarked this online quest in search of Martin.

In the video of In Search of Martin Klein, certain icons such as the identity of the left wing, the non-mainstream culture, the first Blockbuster movie, and punk rock are blended in chronically to illustrate the story of who Martin is. Also, the digital remnants of Martin left online were employed to put together the personal history of Martin and the ambiance of that times.
